Fr. Larry Faraon has been in the preaching ministry for the past 36 years and his preaching style is both didactically humorous and witty. He broadcasts in Crossover FM Radio 105.1 a daily gospel program “Sounds of the Soul” (crossover.com.ph) and a live show at Radio Veritas (846 AM) titled, “Healing Touch” every Sunday evening, and writes a column in The Daily Tribune Philippines, “Tablets of Stone” on Sundays. He officiates mass on television over at NBN 4.
He was ordained a Dominican on April 30, 1983 for 28 years and now belongs to the Prelature of Batanes and preaches regularly at Presentation of the Lord Parish in Quezon City. He is spiritual adviser to several church communities, including Mama Mary’s Movement, New Covenant Community and Oasis of Love Catholic Community.
He has travelled overseas especially in Asia, the Gulf, and Middle East doing ministry. Being a well-travelled preacher, Fr. Larry is also a consultant of the Congressional Oversight Committee in Overseas Workers Affairs (COCOWA). He ministers also to several celebrities in show business. He teaches theology and media in the University of Sto. Tomas, La Consolacion College and Siena College.
He has written a number of articles and books including “Heal” (2017), “Sounds of the Jubilee” (2000) “Lessons We Laugh to Learn Book 1(1995), Book 2(2005) and Book 3(2013) and O Happy Fault (2016).
Joined Mowelfund as member of the Board of Trustees and concurrent Director of the Welfare Department.
